Le site internet de partage de vidéos YouTube a ouvert lundi une page dédiée à la formation aux techniques du journalisme, avec la participation de certains des plus grands noms de la profession aux Etats-Unis. La page "reporterscenter" abrite plusieurs cours en vidéo, avec divers sujets comme le journalisme d'investigation, le journalisme citoyen, l'éthique de la profession ou la technique de l'entretien. D'autres sessions donnent des conseils pour "saisir des infos au moment où elles se passent sur votre téléphone portable", ou encore "pour se bâtir un public sur YouTube". Le site, propriété du groupe Google, invite également ses utilisateurs journalistes à mettre en ligne leurs propres vidéos pour enseigner leur savoir-faire à d'autres et "partager (leurs) connaissances avec les journalistes-citoyens du monde".

I look back at my wedding photos from the late 70s and cringe at my long hair and funky tux. I can't imagine what these folks will think when they look back at this video. But one thing's for sure: it's gaining lots of velocity on YouTube. (via: lots of folks on Twitter)
